Anyway, so how much attention and care do you put into how you look? Do you, like, put a load of effort into it, or do you just occasionally cut your hair and wash yourself and call it a day.
Also, some people care only for appearances. I'm just wondering how you people would feel if someone came up to you and complimented you on your looks? What if a friend or someone was friends with you because they found you looked good. What if the opposite even? What if they didn't like the way you looked, and were only friends with you because of your personality?
What about someone else? Do you feel it is "okay" for a person to like another because of their appearance? Even if it's mutual or the receiver enjoys the attention? Do you think it will breed a strong relationship? Could it even be called a relationship.
These are clearly the biggest questions science has to offer. As usual, if there is enough replies I'll give my own views and probably embarrass myself.
So, as you know, Pseudo edits his sites while they are being used. As in, you can see him making changes and stuff. I have a local copy on my own computer and make changes to that, only uploading when it is finished. I'm just wondering which you people prefer (although I won't change my method), or if you just don't care?
I guess it can be nice to see things change, which is why people buy into alpha access for games, but at the same time, the site is more or less unusable during those times, so I can see why people wouldn't like it.
Hurray for random topics that nobody apart from me cares about! :D
The booklet mentioned something about cryogenic storage in emergencies, but he didn't pay much attention and looked to see if there was anything else to read.
Okay so a "state" or government has the ability to monitor people. Possibly via phone tapping, internet tapping or foot tapping until you tell them stuff. I'm just asking how much should they actually be entitled to do, and what has to be done before it. I mean, citizens have a right to privacy, but the state probably also has a responsibility to protect it's citizens from the bombzors. Should they require a warrant or can they just collect information beforehand and use machines to look for suspicious activity? That kind of thing.
I'd give my opinion on the matter, but we all know how well that turns out.
Anyway, so making a good interface is very important, and can probably make or break a game.
I'm just wondering what the most annoying UI issue you have ever seen is. Like, counter intuitive controls or things that take ages to do. That kind of thing. Mostly this is just nitpicking! Unless you know of a really really bad problem, in which case I'd like to hear about it! :D
For me I don't think there is anything really major that springs to mind. I am annoyed at the latest Pokémon games for having animations for opening the Pokédex take ages. And you can't register screens like the aforementioned Pokédex. Also, uh, why a big fight button. Have all your moves on the same screen as the run, bag and Pokémon option. Tsk.
Ooh, also, Wind Waker HD. You can't use items by tapping them. You have to drag them to the button slot and then press that button.
Also, every game that doesn't let you customise your controls. I mean, really. Bonus points if they let you use a gamepad and don't let you customise that. Not everyone uses an XBox 360 controller, people!
